A case is a unit of work that comes to you, your department, or your organization that needs to be handled to completion. A Case Management tool is something that helps you keep track of the information pertaining to a case, and helps guide a case worker through the steps needed to complete it.

A dynamic case management system is one that allows for standard processes to be defined, but which also allows for "special case" variations to the standard processes--including brand new processes created on the spot, called Multi Step Tasks in the AgileApps Cloud platform.
