Typical Engineering spec:

Search Settings:
1. Set Default Search To "Seach All"
    The value in seach box should default to "All" on all tabs. Navigating through the tabs should not affect this value. View changes should   also not affect this value. Login to home page should also default to "All".

2. Set Default Search To "Selected Tab"
    a) Login to home page should default to "All" in the seach box.
    b) Home page tab should default to "All" in the search box.
    c) Navigation through the tabs should default to selected tab in the seach box on the selected tab.
    d) View changes should default to selected tab.
    e) Calendar should default to "Events" in the search box on the Calendar page.
    f) Tasks should default to "Activities" in the search box on the Tasks page.
    g) Documents should default to "Documents" in the search box on the Documents Page.

3. Set Default Search To "Some Tab", for example: "Accounts Tab".
     a) Login to home page should default to "Accounts" in the seach box.
    b) Home page tab should default to "Accounts" in the search box.
    c) Navigation through the tabs should default to "Accounts" in the seach box on the selected tab.
    d) View changes should default to "Accounts".
