Quick Filters

The Quick Filter tab allows users of reports to quickly add adhoc filters and run the reports again with the added filters. Picklist, date and checkbox fields can be filtered.

The Quick Filter tab is enabled on the Filter tab of reports by checking the box "Show Quick Filter Layout Configuration". A Quick Filter tab will appear to the right of the Filter tab.

How it works

  1. Open the Quick Filter tab and select the picklist, date and checkbox fields to be shown on the left and right columns. Save each entry.
  2. Select whether the Quick Filter section should show initially as collapsed or expanded.

When users run the report, they will be able to select filters for the selected fields and see the results when they select Run Again.
