Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) are Service Providers who use the Installable Version of the platform.

ISVs generally:

Design custom application solutions
Set up Collaborative Development Configurations
Manage Tenants in a self-hosted environment, to support users in multiple tenancies.
Manage Tenant Capabilities to determine which tenants have access to which features
Use Service Provider Settings to specify global settings that apply to all tenants
Customize the user interface, support information and branding for tenants.
