To start the Messaging Server:

  1. First, start the application server(s).
  2. On the HornetQ server:
    {hornetq-folder}/bin/start.sh{/tt>
  3. On the appserver system:
    /etc/init.d/messaging start

To stop the Messaging Server:

  1. On the appserver system:
    /etc/init.d/messaging stop
  2. On the HornetQ server:
    {hornetq-folder}/bin/stop.sh{/tt>
  3. Then the application server(s) can be stopped.
