Version 6.3 Installable Version Release Notes

Users of LongJump Platform V6.1 or 6.2 should be aware of the following information when migrating to V6.3:

• Beginning with V6.3, a 30-day trial license is issued at installation

• To minimize downtime, we recommend that a Platform License be obtained before the trial period expires

• A new version of Apache Tomcat is included as part of the V6.3 installation process

• The directory /longjump_app_server/tomcat will reflect the new tomcat version

• All the endorsed libraries (customer custom libraries) are now located in the /tomcat/platformlib directory

• Any new libraries should be placed here as well, and the server should be restarted after any change
• Previous to V6.2, these libraries were located at /tomcat/common/lib

• Additional configuration parameters are now available in the installation.properties file, which is used to install/upgrade the platform
