"When Due" is an optional Trigger for a Data Policy. The When Due trigger is only available in Tasks or Appointments in Data Policies. In Tasks and Appointments, the End Date defines the "Due" date (When Due).
Considerations
- In Appointments associated with a When Due trigger, the associated actions to be executed at the time of the scheduled Appointment; See Data Policy in Tasks for more information about associated actions
- In tasks associated with a When Due policy will be triggered at 12:00 am on the day that the task is due.
- If the due date falls on the same day (today), the data policy will be executed immediately after the task is created
- If a recurring task is created, the data policy will be triggered for all child tasks from the current day forward; Child tasks are all tasks created from a recurring task; The original task is considered the Parent task
- If the task has Additional Task Owners, the data policy actions will act on each task assigned to the Additional Task Owners
