Settings > Personal Setup > Personalize

You can personalize your platform experience by creating email signatures, setting task and appointment reminder options, and default search settings.

Persoanlize Your Settings

To personalize your settings:

  1. Click Settings > Personal Setup > Personalize
  2. Click the [Edit] button
  3. Make changes.
  4. Click [Save]

Personalization Options

Reading Pane

Position
Specify where the email display-pane appears.

Search Settings section

Search Settings
Choose the default search option for the Sidebar Search.
  • Search All - All objects in the Application, including hidden objects
  • Object - Search the items in this tab (the current Object)

Date Format Settings section

Set Date Format
Choose from one of the available Date Formats

Reminder Settings section

Appointment Reminder
Default is None (no reminder notification); Optional setting, specified in minutes/hours/days; Determines when an email notification is sent, as a reminder of a scheduled appointment; This default can be overridden when scheduling individual appointments
Additional Email Addresses
Optionally, enter a comma-separated list of additional email addresses for notification; By default, the reminder goes to the email address specified in Personal Information settings
Task Reminder
Default is None (no reminder notification); Available reminder options: 1-6 days, 1 week, or Immediate; Determines when an email notification is sent, as a reminder of a pending task; This default can be overridden when editing individual tasks
Additional Email addresses
Optionally, enter a comma-separated list of additional email addresses for notification; By default, the reminder goes to the email address specified in Personal Information settings

Email Signature section

Email signatures appear automatically in a message, following the body text

Plain Text Signature
This text appears in email messages sent from the platform, and is formatted as plain text, meaning that no additional format styles are available; Typical information to include: name, professional title, company, and contact information
HTML Signature
This text appears at the end of email messages sent from the platform, and is formatted as HTML; HTML formatting can include font styles, such as Bold, Italics, or images (logos or art); Formatting tools are provided
