The MONTH function reads a date and returns the month value.
- Syntax
MONTH('dString')
Date, month, and year are required; hour and minute are optional.
- Return
- Number in the format: mm
- Range 1 (January) - 12 (December)
- Example
MONTH('06/13/2006') = 06
