> Customize > Custom Template Variables
The variables that are predefined on this page are used in the default email templates. Modifying them effectively customizes the templates for your installation.
The variables can also be used in Document Templates, and you can add as many additional variables as you need. Common:Modify Default Template Variables To create new variables:
- Go to > Customize > Custom Template Variables
- Click [Manage Custom Template Variables]
- Provide a descriptive Title for the variable.
- Provide a variable Name.
Alphanumeric characters, hyphens, and underscores are allowed. It must start with an alphabetic character. - Provide a variable Value.
- Click [Save]
