[[Service Provider]]s can post messages to users in tenancies. The Global Broadcast Message can be used for announcements, updates or release information.
 
The Global Broadcast Message is displayed when users login, and can appear as a popup window, or in the [[Sidebar]]. Messages can be displayed to all Users in all tenancies, or just to Users with the [[Default Roles|System Administration]] role.

The Global Broadcast Message can be used for announcements, updates or release information. It appears when users log in. Messages can be displayed to all Users in all tenancies. To add a Global Broadcast Message:

  1. Click Settings > Data Management > Global Broadcast Message
  2. Click [New Global Message]
  3. In the Message section, complete the following information:
    Message Description
    Use the toolbar to build rich text, or click the HTML checkbox and paste HTML code into the message body
  4. Display Start Date:Use the calendar icon to choose a display start date
  5. Display End Date:Use the calendar icon to choose a display end date
  6. Click [Save]
The message is displayed beginning at 12:00 AM on the Start Date, through 11:59 PM on the End Date.


To edit a Global Broadcast Message:

  1. Click Settings > Data Management > Global Broadcast Message
  2. Under Header column, click the Title.
  3. Click Edit
  4. Click [Save]

To delete a Global Broadcast Message:

  1. Click Settings > Data Management > Global Broadcast Message
  2. Under Header column, click the Title.
  3. Click Delete
  4. Click [Ok]
