An "ISV" (also known as an installer, or Service Provider) is someone who installs and administers the platform's Installable Version.
The platform's Installable Version lets you:
- Set up Collaborative Development Configurations
- Manage Tenants in a self-hosted environment
- Manage Tenant Capabilities to determine which tenants have access to which features
- Use Service Provider Settings to specify global settings that apply to all tenants
- Customize the user interface, support information and branding for tenants.
- Design custom application solutions for use by their tenants
