Global Broadcast Message

Settings > Data Management > Global Broadcast Message (admins only)

Service Providers can post messages to users in tenancies. The Global Broadcast Message can be used for announcements, updates or release information.

The Global Broadcast Message is displayed when users login, and can appear as a popup window, or in the Sidebar. Messages can be displayed to all Users in all tenancies, or just to Users with the System Administration role.


To add a Global Broadcast Message:

  1. Click Settings > Data Management > Global Broadcast Message
  2. Click the [New Global Message] button
  3. In the Message section, complete the following information:
    Message Description
    Use the toolbar to build rich text, or click the HTML checkbox and paste HTML code into the message body
  4. Optional Login Popup Message:Checkbox, unchecked by default
    • If checked, a popup window containing the Global Broadcast Message is displayed when the user logs in
    • The popup window includes a Do not show this message again option. Users can click this checkbox and the pop-window containing the Global Broadcast Message will not be displayed when the user logs in again.
  5. Optionally, click the Show Popup only to System Administrators checkbox (unchecked by default)
    • If checked, the Global Broadcast Message is displayed to Users with the System Administration role, only
  6. Display Start Date:Use the calendar icon to choose a display start date
  7. Display End Date:Use the calendar icon to choose a display end date
  8. Click [Save]
The message is displayed beginning at 12:00 AM on the Start Date, through 11:59 PM on the End Date.


To edit a Global Broadcast Message:

  1. Click Settings > Data Management > Global Broadcast Message
  2. Click the Edit link next to the message of interest
  3. Modify the message as desired, then click the [Save] button to save changes


To delete a Global Broadcast Message:

  1. Click Settings > Data Management > Global Broadcast Message
  2. Click the Delete link next to the message of interest
  3. Click the [OK] button to confirm deletion of the message
