The Manage Personal Setup permission permission right defines how users in a Role can modify the personal user interface settings.
- Considerations
- The Manage Personal Setup permission permission right is enabled by default for all Roles
- If Access Control/User Management permission rights are Enabled for a Role, then those settings will override the Create/Delete View/Report/Homepage settings
- Manage Personal Setup permission permission rights are set in Administrative Permissions
- How it Works
- The following actions are available in the Personal Setup options when the Manage Personal Setup permission permission right is enabled or disabled:
Personalize User Interface Enabled Disabled These options are available and can be modified:
- My Information
- My Email-to-
- Change Password
- Security Question
- Personalize
- Colors
- Workspace Preference
- Request Update Settings
- Outlook Email Edition
These options are available:
- Can view My information (read only)
- Can change Password
- Can change Security Question
